Meilman Station Australian Wines

Meilman (indigenous meaning “place of many frogs”) is a sheep station
owned by the Gorman family since 1925. Situated on the banks of the
mighty Murray River, Meilman Station supports a diverse range of wildlife in natural wetlands and red gum forest.

The district of Sunraysia is a premier wine grape growing region of Australia producing wines with unique characteristics. Our wines are grown on a hill of deep red loam over limestone in sun-drenched conditions and low humidity to produce elegant wines of consistent quality to discerning distributors and wine markets around the world.

Meilman Station has developed a range of satisfying wines:

SHIRAZ 2002

Garnet red in colour, nose displays aromas of smokey oak, bramble
fruits and aniseed to combine with a rich, leathery palate showing
cracked pepper and blackberries with long drying tannins.
Master Winemakers, Yarra Valley

CABERNET SAUVIGNON 2002

Garnet red in colour, nose abounds with rich berry fruits leading to
blackcurrent, lavender and clove on the palate with well balanced oak.
